Tout ce que vous voulez savoir

From what age can the child mode be used? +

Child mode, with its gentle pressure, depends on each child. We recommend always asking your dentist for advice before first use, especially if your child has braces or sensitive gums, and using the device under adult supervision.

How does a water flosser work? +

It emits a pulsating stream of water that dislodges food debris and rinses away unattached biofilm from teeth, in areas that a toothbrush struggles to reach.

Does a water flosser replace a dental visit? +

No. Apollident is a hygiene tool to be used in addition to brushing, but it does not replace regular dental check-ups, nor medical advice in case of pain or bleeding.

Who is Apollident for? +

For anyone who wants to complement their brushing routine.

Does a water flosser hurt your gums? +

No, the pressure is adjustable. Start with the gentlest mode if you have sensitive gums, then gradually increase it. Avoid pressing the tip directly against the gum: direct the jet along the gum, at a small distance, for comfortable cleaning.

What oral hygiene routine should I adopt? +

Brush your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes, and clean between your teeth once a day with floss, interdental brushes, or a water flosser. For better effectiveness, use interdental tools before brushing.
